Vision Statement

To create a highly effective provision that can adapt to the needs of the pupils and support their families, driven by the conviction that empowering our pupils to achieve, ensures every individual matters.

We focus on providing ambitious and tailored educational opportunities, in line with our trust’s motto:

“Where together excellence and pupils thrive”

We aim for our pupils:

To develop their confidence and independence.

To recognise and take pride in their achievements.

To follow an aspirational, tailored learning pathway that ensures every individual achieves.

To develop communication and self-regulation skills, allowing our pupils to manage their emotions and communicate to the best of their potential.

To celebrate differences, and diversity that reflects our community, as well as life in modern Britain.

To lead a fulfilling lifetime of opportunities as an adult.

Riverwalk is an inclusive school that strongly believes in the importance of our role in serving the community. Our curriculum is designed to work for our pupils, enabling their parents to be ambitious for their children. Our staff work together to ensure each pupil is given every opportunity to make meaningful progress, taking part in experiences that ultimately improve their life prospects.
